…but how was your day?

But excited, nonetheless
I think I’m the only person I know who gets excited about re-partitioning a hard drive. Actually, I think I only know like 4 other people who know how to re-partition a hard drive.
I am a hopeless nerd. Even as much as I love OSX, I still get excited about doing incredibly retardedly nerdy things like partitioning. On a saturday night. Hmm.
What about BSD vs octopus?
You’ll have to pardon another short entry, but this was highly amusing.
Also, if you want to see a crawdad getting seriously r0x0red by a octopus, check this video out.
just you lemme know
I apparently have gmail invites coming out the woodwork.. I guess I was expecting an email from gmail saying I have invites, but apparently it’s just a little sidebar.
so now I have 49. Anyone want Gmail? lol
eh?
What country are you? You scored as Canada. You’re polite, friendly and pretty much an all around nice person. Everyone wants you at the party but at the same time no one really cares if you don’t show. You might consider hitting the gym once in a while.
Yeah… 90% Canada.
Totally worth it
And thus ends the near week of strange dreams. Have I ever mentioned that my cats are stupid? They both got out last night and they both went about 10 feet away. And last night Tyler was trying to find a way around Tres, so he tried to go through the bars on our dining room chairs… except he’s a fat ass and couldn’t fit much more than a leg… so he eventually gave up and just laid down.
We actually played D&D last night… and for the first time ever in a game I’ve played, there was more girls than guys. Clare, her roommate Diana, and Dana all made characters (elven ranger, cleric, and gnome rogue, respectively…. show of hands, who’s surprised Dana picked a Gnome?). Tres made a human fighter. Despite gaming again being Tristan’s idea, he didn’t play.. bah. It was definitely good times, though, especially since none of them have ever played before.
I’ve had this picture up on a tab in my webbrowser for about a week now. I just can’t bring myself to close it. For the curious. I don’t know why, but it strikes me that there is something about this picture… some deeper meaning I can’t quite grasp. I’ll admit it, I’ve spent more than 10 minutes at a time looking at it. Ok. I’ve closed it now. And set it as my wallpaper. Wow, ok, now I was just straring at my desktop. Ok. Yeah.
Well, I’ve got to be getting to work now. 8 hour shift and what not. Oy. Up til 4:30 last night. Worth it.
22 days.
MmmmmmmmMMMMMmmmm…. Cranberry Cherry juice… oh so tangy. Man oh man, the dreams I’ve been having lately. Have I mentioned that I started rereading Wheel of Time again? Only, my book 1 is trashed, so I started at book 2.
Speaking of books, it looks like I might have to buy a $50 book for this web design class I’m taking – which I was really only taking cuz I wanted two more units of something easy. And the old buy it from amazon.co.uk trick won’t work this semester, cuz the dollar is actually doing poorly compared to the british pound.
Oh well. I’ll figure something out.
best medicine
It’s amazing how good a short run can make you feel. Not that I was even having a bad day or anything… it’s just that the run I took made it a great day.
me drinking tea, whoda thunkit?
Words fail to describe how lucky a person I am.
I’ve got no idea.
I’m in Valencia. Clare is right…… here… actually she’s right over there, ——->
She wants to say hi, hang on a sec, here she is.
“hi!!!”
Apparently that’s all she has to say. Though she swears she’s enjoying herself here. She’s awesome.
Anyway. We just finished watching The Day After Tomorrow. Er… Lance… Wtf? I… uhh. Yeah. It’s one of those movies that makes you sit back and wonder – “Just what is the speed of cold, anyway?”
We did just watch The Color of Paradise, though. It’s a good flick. Here’s Clare’s take on it:
“uhmmmguhph.”
Actually, she says she might have more to say later. I guess you’ll just have to ask her yourself.
Oh! So yeah. We’re driving from Whulian to Valencia right? Yeah. And it seems like the ride is a little more bumpy than I recall. Well. See. It turns out that my tire had a big gaping hole in the top layer, and the top layer was starting to come off. Two and a half hours and seventy bucks later, we were on our way again. The trip took 6 hours when you factor in the sitting around time. Wheee. It was alright though. The company was pretty good.
So I got an iPod for Christmas from my dad! It’s pretty freaking cool. 40 gigs. I think I’ll have to get an FM transmitter for it, so I can use it as a stereo in my car on long trips.
Anyway, that’s all for now, I guess I’ll add more later… I still have some stuff to write about from Christmas! Yeah.
